Have you ever broken a bone?
Another Question from http://www.blogideas.com/ Well here we go.
Yes, I have broken a bone. But no really anything bad. Techinically I have only ever broke one bone. A finger. Not much considering all the broken bones people I know have gotten.
It happened when I was like 7 or 8 or 9. I was just learning how to ride a bike and still hadn't learned about how to use the wonderful thing known as brakes quite yet.
What happened was I was at the top of this steep hill that I had ridden down before. I was a road going into an apartment complex. Well I started going down the hill picking up speed and at the bottom where the road turned right I saw a car was coming. I could have easily hit the brakes and stopped myslef but instead I went straight off the the road where it turned right. I went straight into the grass and right in a tree at the edge of some woods that were there.
Well, in hitting my hand had come off my handlebarse and hit the tree. It broke my finger and tore a big gash in my hand. Of course I freaked out and ran to where my mom was. I was bleeding pretty badly and had to go to the hospital. They had to very painfully re-break the finger and set it and then I got 18 stitches to close the woud. It was a messy ordeal but I survived. I didn't try to ride a bike for awhile afterwards but eventually did get back on only to lead to many more wrecks and stitches along the way. Writing this I now wish I still had a bike to ride because what fun they are.
I've had a few near breaks. I dislocated my pinky once by landing on it wrong. It looked bad because it dislocated in the middle knuckle and bent to the right to look like an "L".
I also had a couple sprained ankles. And once I got hit in the eye with a baseball during practice before our teams little league championship game and it cracked my orbital or eye socket. I got that along with a concussion and man, that is some annoying pain right there. Especially when you get on a trampoline and jump around like an idiot where you land on your back sending your knee into your fucked up eye socket. Damn I thought I was killed.
Well, this is the White Falcon signing off once again.
