Truly Amazing
Truly Amazing is how I describe the "His Dark Materials" book trilogy by Philip Pullman. I'm up to the last chapter of the last book titled "The Amber Spyglass" and am totally engulfed by it. The first 2 were great as well and were titled "The Golden Compass" and "The Subtle Knife".
All 3 books are so outstanding in every way. Not only do I feel them to be the best books I have ever read but better than alot of stories in movies or TV or whatever. Sadly, I must now say that my former favorite fantasy books, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Dragonriders of Pern series have been thoroughly defeated.
The books deal with topics such as love, religion, courage, and pretty much every other single topic that defines peoples lives perfectly.
